Paperglory creates and distributes gift books and ornaments honoring life’s journey. Each gift book or Christmas ornament is not only a miniature book (less than 3 inches tall), but also, when opened cover to cover, delightfully becomes a six-pointed star that flows with creative inspiration.

About The Artist
Gloria Jost is an artist, a craftswoman, and a creator. To understand her own passions, she looks back at her family line to see the roots of her own creative hands. Her great grandfather, John Baer, was a craftsman of utility. An expert furniture builder, maker of percussion rifles, and a respected blacksmith, he passed down to future generations the advice he lived by: “Always learn to do something constructive with your hands and you will never go hungry.” The words resonated with Gloria’s mother, Mr. Baer’s granddaughter, who worked the earth with her hands, layering the textures of flowers and vegetables across her artistic garden palette. Gloria continues the tradition, using her own creative passions to design hand-built paper gifts that speak to the soul. Her artistic sensibilities are inspired by her love of historic botanical illustration and heirloom design from around the world.
